A very peaceful little park along the Coosa River. It offers a nice walking trail with beautiful views of the Coosa River, and some very friendly geese and ducks! There is also an art trail with metal sculptures made by local artists which are very cool, and there is a historic jail that you can pass on the trail as well.

This is a wonderful park. What a surprise to us after living in Montgomery a year to find this park has been just around the corner in the next town. Such a peaceful place to go for a walk. There are a lot of bridges. The park is clean. There are plenty of nice new picnic tables to enjoy. Gorgeous flowers and fun to watch the ducks or go fishing. The children loved the playground. Definitely go here for a picnic or to let the kids run around.

A very nice park with views of the Coosa River. They have a boat launch and parking area. Ducks, geese, mallards, occasionally chickens..lol and squirrels roam around the park. There is a short paved walking path that dead ends to the wood line. The opposite way will take you by the playground area and towards the old Wetumpka Bridge and down town historic district with interesting places, shops, and eateries. HG TV had a show on this place!
