🐾 Kids at the Dog Park: Real Stories, Safety Risks & Smarter Solutions
If you’ve spent time at an off-leash park, you’ve probably seen it:A parent strolls in with a stroller 🚼 or […]
Deer Park, located at 637 Deer Park Rd in Westminster, Maryland, is a welcoming community space perfect for dog owners seeking pet-friendly trails and outdoor activities. The park features a spacious walking trail that loops around the football, baseball, and soccer fields, ideal for dog-friendly hiking and daily walks. There is also a small, scenic pond and wooded walking trails, providing plenty of opportunities for pets and their owners to connect with nature.
In addition to the dog-friendly amenities, Deer Park offers a playground for children, making it a great option for families. Visitors appreciate the clean, safe environment and enjoy both the athletic facilities and the relaxing pathways. While not a dedicated off-leash dog park, it’s a wonderful spot to enjoy outdoor recreation and socialization with your pup in Carroll County.
Clean park. Safe place to jog – but it’s also a dog trail so, just got to be courteous and kind- share the trail.
It’s got a pond and my children enjoy playing basketball and the playground some times.
This facility was recently expanded to include new playing fields. The expansion should have included a new entrance/exit on to 32! The grading of the new fields is not good and needs to be improved… the existing fields are tired and in need of a reworking! Carroll County needs to get their act together on the playing surfaces, better grass, aeration, weed and feed, rolling and regular service (holes filled and replanted) the grass needs a comprehensive and scheduled maintenance. The grass needs to be cut to access the games being played!
Great park with a playground, sports fields, pond and a wooded walking trail.
Great park small pond but it has bass and blue gills.
I like to walk my dog here. Its a cute park with a nice sized walking trail around football, baseball & soccer fields. There is also a little wooded walking area they made a little fun for the kiddos.
