I came here for my son’s cross-country practice for the first time. The trail was super nice, surrounded by gorgeous fall colors and lots of trees. The only downside was that parking was pretty limited.
Beautiful park, well maintained and clean. Great for walking the dog. Well shaded. The outer rim loop is approximately 1.5mi. Some brief noise from hwy 31 was a bit un-naturey and irritating, but only lasts for a few minutes of the trail.
I love this park. So clean and well maintained. I don’t like the traffic noise from the 31 but that’s only noticeable for a few minutes. Lots of benches, swings and signs for hefty honeys to take breaks at or just enjoy the nature.
This park tucked away on the corner of US 31 and State Road 38 is a gem. There are many trails to choose from, but we always enjoy the outermost trail, which has the most wooded and best scenery. It’s a good stop for a quick hike, not very challenging, but fun.
