Beautiful place to park your car, and enjoy nature. We usually park here and a take short hike to Hamlock waterfalls.

I often go to this place to relax and show my friends and family a good time outdoors with my small camping set up, but today was not a good day and I feel I need to warn others. I was camping with my sister for a few hours after work from 5-7pm around 5:30pm a white male about 6 feet tall with a hat and green vest stopped and asked us if we were spending the night there and how people often do, after we said no we’re just here for a few hours he responded with “okay bye” and walked off. At about 6:45p after the sun had set my sister saw him hiding behind a tree looking at us, we have no idea how long he was there or what his intentions were so we started packing up quickly in which we saw him go tree to tree trying to stay hidden but we had our eyes on him the entire time. If it wasn’t for a car driving into the parking lot and scaring him away, I have no idea what would have happened. Please only go in large groups and definitely leave before sun down. That was our biggest mistake.

Great place to walk and get fresh air. I’ve explored the area since I was a child and now I bring my girls to share the experience. Kid and dog friendly

Well marked Trails… a small but very nice waterfall..I think it will be better to go after a rainfall so you can see more water flowing….not stroller friendly..

I wanted to hike a nice, easy loop trail. You can access the Turtle Back (Orange) loop trail from the parking area at Tulip Springs.

The trail is a nice, woodland trail that’s more roots than rocks. The trail is well blazed. I was able to jog without getting off-trail, even though I had never been on the trail before.
