Tranquility Ridge offers pet-friendly hiking trails surrounded by beautiful woods, a scenic lake, and tranquil natural views, making it a favorite spot for dog owners seeking outdoor adventures. While not a traditional fenced dog park, it’s a dog-friendly hiking destination with clearly marked trails where leashed dogs are welcome. With its rugged, rocky paths, shady areas almost throughout, stream crossings, and diverse wildlife sightings (including the occasional bear!), this park is ideal for those looking for a genuine nature experience away from city noise.
The trails cater to all levels, ranging from short, easy walks around the lake to more moderate hikes with gentle inclines and unique sights such as old ruins and peaceful water features. There are portable restrooms available at the parking lot, and ample shade ensures comfortable walks even on sunny days. Parking can fill up quickly on weekends, so morning visits are best. Don’t forget your sturdy shoes, bug spray, and leashes for your dog to enjoy hiking safely as required by park rules.
I was about to hike but came across a fork in the hike and wasn’t sure where main route went…is there a map of this hike?

Would be a very nice hike except about a mile or so in on the yellow trail for the next 2 miles or so is ruined by all the quads from Peter Mines road who make this their own personal playground. They absolutely ruined these HIKING trails.

My husband and I took a beautiful walk through these woods. This place is great for a easy hiking, the trails are well marked.
The sounds, smells, water streams and birds singing make for a tranquil walk.
Lovely!
