Riverside Park in West Lebanon, New Hampshire, is a popular destination known for its dog-friendly atmosphere, scenic riverside views, and a wealth of family-friendly amenities. The park offers pet owners access to beautiful, well-maintained walking and hiking trails along the river, making it an excellent spot for dog-friendly hiking and leisurely dog walks. Visitors consistently praise the serenity, cleanliness, and natural beauty of Riverside Park, which stands out as a go-to dog park in West Lebanon for locals and travelers alike.
Packed with recreational facilities, the park features abundant seating, sheltered picnic areas, and a playground for kids. While dogs are welcome (especially on-leash along the trails), the park caters to the whole family—offering a skate park, volleyball court, concessions, and even a small library. Free parking, restrooms (porta potty), and shaded areas add to the convenience and comfort, ensuring a top-notch experience for both two-legged and four-legged visitors exploring pet-friendly trails in the Upper Valley region.
Nice playground, and a large covered area with picnic tables, and a small walking trail. Near the highway, great stop with young kids.
Amazing place to read books. There’s a place to skate. There is also a volleyball court. There’s a small library where you can get books and read.
Stopped mid drive looking for a nice place to rest. Beautiful river but not the quietest experience. The highway noise was consistent and the location seems to attract young families looking for water to wade in. I’d give it 5 stars as a highway rest area but 2.5 as a peaceful nature retreat. Porta Potty in the parking lot. Free parking. Short easy walk to the river.
One of the best playgrounds in the area. Lots of seating, nice with the river right there, lots of equipment. My daughter loves the seesaw and twirly thing. Skate park is also a really nice addition in the past decade. Recommend 🙂
Gorgeous, serene, clean, dog-friendly park on the river’s edge. I go here at least once a week even though I have numerous parks much closer to my house that I can go to, but I much prefer this park.
