Nice hiking area. They have paper trail maps that you can take which is really helpful as there are several different trails that overlap at points. I just put the map back when I was done. The trails are very well marked and maintained. I liked the lookout point next to the pond. There’s a lodge at the parking lot that was having some kind of event the day I was there
Amazing hiking spot so close to NYC – by Metro North (and 5 minute Uber ride). Dont miss climbing the rock quarry! Took my 5 and 7 year olds on their first real hike by myself and worked out great!
Beautiful and quiet place, not crowded like other hike places. Best Place to hike for beginners. My kids enjoyed hiking here, they said very easy hike since they been hiking a lot. However there’s plenty of trails depending on how challenging you want them to be. trails are well marked.
