FAQ for Riverside Park in West Fork Arkansas:
Very nice and peaceful park! 3 pavilions all with grills, great little creek going through it to fish. A good trail around the park to walk. Will definately do a couple kids birthday party’s here!
Get there early if you want a spot on the shore! More mud than rocks, not bad, just be aware. Fun for kids of all ages because they have a park and bathroom. Cliff jumping is a must try! Kids who are not strong swimmers better wear a life vest, there is an overflow cliff that drops off. Great spot to hang for the day! Picnic area was full of trash until the City workers came around eight to clean it all up so that that was good they’re on top of all that. Nothing you can do about the ridiculous amount of flies and goose poop. I’m not opposed to rehoming all the geese. Every last one. They get one star.
Such a nice park!!! So glad that I stopped. Had alot of fun skipping rocks across the river. You can swim here, bring your swimming suit!!!
The river and park were both well maintained and pretty! There’s a long sidewalk to walk on if you don’t want to hoof it in the grass. Lots of the river had riverside land you can picnic on, and fish from the bank. It was beautiful. There were a couple of tiny little waterfalls trickling down from the cliffs on the opposite side of the river. It made for a relaxing spot to just lie out in the sun.
Great park overall. Hate it’s so packed during the summer months but it is rightfully so! Beautiful scenery all the way around, it has a walking trail, bathrooms, areas to fish and swim too. Great place and lovely town.
