FAQ for West Allis Dog Park in West Allis Wisconsin:
Great dog park! My dog loves it. Only downfall (to no fault of the park itself), is owners with aggressive dogs. If your dog gets in a fight or attacks unprovoked, the dog park is not for you unfortunately. My little guy has been attacked twice by the same dog while minding his business and had to get stitches the first time. The owner just laughs and walks away. It’s a medium sized white dog with light brown markings. The owner is about 5’11 brown hair, usually wears a baseball hat and a backpack of some sort. Hangs out near a group of other people whose dogs can also get aggressive with others. Just wanting to warn anyone out there who has a well behaved pup that only wants to play!
Very nice park. Small dog area is pretty small, but its usually just us. Sometimes we go the big dog section, which has a lot more space and is up a little higher.
First time coming here, really nice space for dogs!! Very large area with some shady spots to get out of the sun. A little more signage signifying the park would be helpful. If it weren’t for GPS I wouldn’t know it was there.
So many dog lovers and their four legged besties come to throw a ball, run some laps, or make new friends. Fully fenced and sectioned into large and small dog areas for off leash freedom sessions. It’s always a great time!
Nice, well maintained dog park. Has areas for both small and big dogs. Small walking trails, a small thicket area, and now an agility course. Great place to take your pup to Offn off energy.
