Great park! Lots of random people parking there now, though. Hope the cops stay on top of it so we can keep a nice park. Sometimes trash overflows bins and causes bees and bugs to make the experience less desirable but I love the splash pad and track! The open green area is a nice place for leisure sports.

I was traveling from Brookhaven, MS to visit a friend who was attending her great nephews birthday party at this park. I had always driven by Wesson while traveling on I-55 but never took the time to stop. This is a very nice small park and great place to stop if traveling and want the kids to get out and stretch legs. It’s about 4 miles off interstate. There is a snow cone shop across street that also sells ice cream etc. It’s located downtown and there is a Dollar General in walking distance. There is also a BBQ restaurant.I didn’t have time to tour the small downtown are because after party I went straight to my friends home in Hazlehurst. BUT definitely plan to stop by and do do the next time I’m on 55 South!! I love exploring small towns throughout the states!

Great little park for toddlers and big kids too! I take my 13 year old, 11 year old and 16 month old here and they have a blast each time. They have a splash pad, a big kid slide area, a smaller slide for little kids and swings. There’s also a concrete walkway around the park if you want to get some exercise in whole the kiddos play!
