Peaceful, quiet lunch spot.
The picnic area itself wasn’t the greatest but the lookout there was amazing! The trip there was on dirt/gravely roads, but was worth it.
Beautiful views from Bradley Wales Vista year round! These pictures are from the first snowfall in November 2021. The views are just a short hike from the picnic area.
Nice picnic area, does not have any pavilion, so plan accordingly. There are tables, a nice grassy area and pit toilets. NO WATER, so plan accordingly, again. Nice overlook nearby and the W Rim Rd is in pretty good shape.
Great spot to park for a hike on the West Rim Trail. Close access to the canyon. Also has a bathroom. The road can get pretty rutted though so I would recommend only going out there with a 4wd/awd car/truck with some decent ground clearance. The mountain roads get dicey.
