Barbre Park is a small, recently renovated community park in Webster Groves, MO, that offers a peaceful, safe greenspace ideal for short walks and relaxing in a quiet neighborhood. The park is known for its inviting walking trail, historical significance, and periodic community events like small concerts and yoga classes. Recent updates include a new sculpture honoring local history and enhanced walking paths. While not exclusively a dog park, Barbre Park is a popular choice for pet-friendly walks thanks to its shaded areas and welcoming atmosphere.
Pet owners appreciate the fenced-in aspect of the park, which provides some peace of mind for leashed dogs. However, dogs must remain on leash during visits, and there are no dedicated off-leash or separate dog areas. Visitors should plan to bring their own water for their pets, as there is currently no water fountain on site, and be mindful that the park can get moderately busy during community events. Barbre Park’s unique combination of local culture, quiet scenery, and community engagement makes it a valued spot for walkers, families, and dog lovers alike in Webster Groves.
Great place for a short walk
Small park in Webster Groves. Great for walking in a safe area. It’s a small park and the walk is technically in circles. There is a great little monument about the history of black Americans history in Webster Goves.
Nice, quiet greenspace in North Webster neighborhood. No playground here, so very nice for a stroll with your honey😍
Very impressive.Saw alot of long time members from Old North Webster Groves Missouri.A place where I grew up in a had a great time a child playing and becoming a very important piece of long forgotten history.
This park was recently renovated and has a nice walking trail with some historic information signage and a new sculpture honoring the neighborhood.
