Literally every bit of our stay has been flawless and pleasant: starting from booking by phone from across the Atlantic, e-mail communications, through warm welcome at check-in, extraordinary breakfasts, very useful local suggestions which we followed and were very satisfied, to the top quality room cleanness and comfort. We’ve stayed in a room which was spacious enough to accommodate comfortably 3 adults and a child. The terrace was a great place to have a snack in the evening. Both the room and the breakfast hall/chapel are aesthetically furnished and equipped with top-notch utilities. The hosts are welcoming, and their cooking is delicious. There are two well-trained and friendly dogs. (and there is also a grand piano for use by guests). Thank you Maureen and Bill!

My wife Jacki and I had the pleasure of staying at this magnificent B&B recently. Really cool restored old church. Maureen and Bill were lovely. The two house pet people Murphy and Guinness are typical Labs, barkey bark, then tail wags and kisses. Everything was very clean, and water pressure that can cut granite. Location is literally 20 min from anything. It is in a fully residential neighborhood. 20-25 min walk to stuff, but Uber or lyft are fast and cheap. Breakfast was your normal fair but Maureen is open to please. It was very good and cooked to order. Highly recommend.

We were greeted by the owners and two barking dogs. I did not see anything about resident dogs on the website which I think is important in making a decision on where to stay. I’ve been dog bitten twice in my life and am petrified of them. The owners were very congenial and accommodating and said they would put the dogs away if we notify them ahead of time, which isn’t exactly convenient for a guest. The dogs barked at us once while we were in the common area which was completely unnerving.
The website photos of extravagant breakfasts were lovely and looked delicious. We got fried eggs, toast and chicken sausage. The brochure stated breakfast was at 8:30. My husband started getting texts prior to 8 am needing to know what we wanted for breakfast because all the other guests were up and out.
I don’t like leaving underwhelming reviews but we were truly underwhelmed by the breakfast part of the B&B classification. The building truly is remarkable. The owners were kind and accommodating to find safe storage for a large painting I had brought for an appraisal event being held nearby.

My wife and I were visiting STL for a few days and stayed at Tuxedo Park.
Maureen and Bill are incredible hosts. After long days visiting family, we enjoyed our evening tea and chats.
The building is incredible and the rooms are so comfortable.
Location was so convenient from the airport and to all of our daytime trips.
Can’t wait to visit again.
