Southwest Park is known for its unique playground equipment, clean restrooms, a well-maintained pavilion, and inviting picnic areas. The landscaped surroundings and newly planted trees create a pleasant setting for both humans and dogs alike. Although reviews focus heavily on amenities for kids, the park’s expansive lawns and pet-friendly environment make it a popular gathering spot for dog owners looking for a relaxing outing near St. Louis. With public restrooms and shaded spaces nearby, it’s an excellent option for both pets and their people to unwind in a lovely Webster Groves neighborhood.
Came here for a soccer game, and it seems designed extremely poorly. The parking spots seem to be striped for ox carts rather than cars. Even the street parking is very narrow. The soccer field is painted far from the nearest shade trees, meaning players and spectators are in full sun, even in late afternoon. Completely unnecessary, it seems designed by a sadist. Webster Groves should be able to do better.

Gorgeous park with lots of playground and green fields. Even a tiny toddler park bench.

This park is great, with structures for big and little kids. There’s a nice pavilion and bathrooms. The playground equipment is unique and fun compared to the usual. The part I love even more is the big yard like area just down from the playground, open, but planted nicely. My boys had fun playing hide and seek, running around the trees and climbing all over some very low growing branches. Very cool place tucked in a very nice neighborhood!
