I was on a journey to find Ferrin pond on my motorcycle exploration this day and came to a class 6 road that my GPS brought me to so followed that road to where there was a small bridge crossing with the pond located on both sides and other foot and bicycling trails ahead. I parked my motorcycle on the bridge enjoying the area of the pond and the wild life of frogs jumping into the water. One bicyclist passed through while I was at this spot. I had a quick snack and hydrated then went on to explore the other trails on foot in this same location of the Weare NH forest. A nice find for another day to hike more of this area.

You can drive down the road to the parking in the middle of the woods. K do recommend downloading the app All trails so you can reach the mountain summits and let you’re puppies run around in the water!! It gets steep I would suggest a 4×4 with enough ground clearance…my Yukon xl barely made it through certain areas.

Not a far hike up hill in the State Park to this beautiful pond. Our dog enjoyed a swim in the pristine water.

Beautiful hiking area in Weare. I just moved from Weare after living there almost 4 years and never knew this was here. Going to go back in the fall. Was about 3 miles round trip, to the pond, around, and back.
