Great dog park if your dog is good at coming when called. There are no fence. There is a road kind of close that could be a problem for a dog with no really. It wasa perfect place for us!
What a great dog park! Lots of local owners come here to enjoy letting dogs off leash to run. Lots of trails, creeks, open spaces for them to enjoy. Dog water fontains too. Easy access of I-64 and SR340.
Recommend 7-10am for best experience
Please clean up after your dog as the rest of us do!
I hadn’t been there in a long time. I have memories of birthday parties and picnics there. It was good to see it is still very peaceful and beautiful. It is also a great dog park for my grandoggers. We took our grandson and it was a great place to teach him about nature and animals.
We will definitely be going back as soon as possible.
Absolutely loved this gem of a park. There aren’t too many places I’ve found that allow dogs off leash aside from “small” fenced dog parks. This park is a dog’s paradise, and we had an absolute blast roaming the trails (be aware, very muddy after all the snow melting) and playing fetch in the huge open fields. Wow. And if it couldn’t get any better, upon leaving I stumbled across this lovely dying fire in the shelter that was left by the previous inhabitants. Thank you Waynesboro for this wonderful area! Worth traveling from Cville to visit! 👌🏼♥️
Really awesome off leash park! Well maintained, just wish people would clean up after their dogs better because I don’t think there are any staff to get what others miss. Dog poop bags are provided so make sure you grab more than you need. I think this would also be great for bike riding and will try that next time but be warned, it would be a workout because it’s nothing but hills.
