James C. Dittmar Park

James C. Dittmar Park is a well-maintained, accessible park featuring flat green spaces with soccer and lacrosse fields, a paved walking path, and ample parking. It is family-friendly and offers a peaceful environment surrounded by old growth trees. While restrooms are available, they lack hand washing facilities. The park is popular for soccer practice and adjacent to local schools and playgrounds.
Reviews
Beautiful park with well maintained soccer fields.
Really nice park relatively well sheltered from the wind and with a nice walk path. Lots of soccer goals and a well used park for soccer practice.
Nice, relatively flat green space surrounded by old growth trees. The lower field has soccer fields. Parking is adequate, the area surfaced with crushed gravel.
Underused park that has nice soccer/lacrosse fields and a paved walking path around the perimeter. Wayne Elementary School is very close and has multiple playgrounds. Nice area for a walk.
I was just at the park for a youth soccer game and the field was very well marked. I didn’t care for the bathrooms. The toilet was basically a huge hole with a seat and there was nowhere to wash your hands or get hand sanitizer.
