The park features a securely fenced small dog section, and a large area where bigger dogs can roam and play off-leash. Visitors praise the park’s welcoming community and the abundance of room for dogs to run, making it one of the best dog parks in the Milwaukee area.
Convenient amenities ensure a comfortable experience—poop bags are regularly stocked, and there’s plenty of shade throughout the area. While the park is rarely overcrowded, owners are encouraged to keep a close eye on their dogs due to the park’s expansive size. Overall, Minooka Dog Park offers a relaxing environment, great for regular visits and socializing with other local dog lovers.
Always a great time. My boy is 165 pound Pyr. He loves meeting so many dogs and people. I met so many wonderful souls here
Great for dogs of all sizes. Small dog section is secured by a fence. Plenty of room to run. My dog loves it.
My dog loved this place. We’ve only been once but it’s landscape is so vast if you want to keep an eye on your dog the whole time bring a friend and split up. I entered the large breed area on the north end, going southeast is a hill leading down to more space so if you’re slow and your dog bolts you won’t see them. Poo bags were fully stocked. Would go back again if in the area.
Since runway closed, this is my favorite dog park in the Milwaukee area. It’s nice and big and has lots of room for the dogs to run around, and a nice wooded area. It’s rarely ever over crowded. Make sure you bring your own water!
There is a lady with this dog, “Cora,” who attacked my tiny dog. I then witnessed Cora attack another dog ( who I exchanged numbers with btw) The lady is not physically able to break up fights, so she brings this younger, taller man with her. She keeps Cora leashed now with a shock collar on, and insisted that Cora’s behavior has been “corrected.” I’m not one for blasting someone online, but I would bet other dogs have been attacked by Cora, and I don’t think it’s fair to other dogs/owners that this lady is knowingly bringing Cora to a dog park with behaviors of this nature. I also don’t see the point in bringing Cora to a dog park with a shock collar on.
