Beautiful views!!! We went on a rainy day and so the clouds were low on the mountains. Gorgeous!!!
Going to echo what others have said here that the gorgeous es definitely in hour or more up the road from this marker. So I’m sure the park is great but when I drove out here it was not where maps took me. There were a lot of private hikes around, but Little pine State Park is nearby and it was pretty cute.
Me and my two sons did a 6 mile hike. It was so nice with many trails. This is a beautiful place to visit. I just wish there were more views from the top but with the leaves there aren’t many from where we hiked. However, we all had fun and that’s all that matters! It was so peaceful and the trails we went on were challenging. A great workout in a beautiful location!!
We drove 5 hours to visit this place. Worth it. You can do a lots of activities. A lot of different spots for camping, boatinng, hiking. It is the home of rattlesnak, so be cautious. We did not see a rattlesnake but we definitely saw another snake (do not know the name) close to us. Also I believe we saw leopard slug.
Beautiful place to site see and hike. We climbed down to the creek where you see small waterfalls. The hike is a combination of a path and wooden staircases. Takes about 30 minutes to an hour to get down depending on your fitness and the same to get back up.
