If there were 6 stars I would choose that. My girlfriend our dog and I did a kayak tour of hector falls and it did not disappoint. Our guide Paul is a gem. He was very attentive to our little pup. He gave us a lot of interning history about the lake and local area. I would definitely do it again.

We LOVED our recent afternoon with Seneca Lake Kayak! A group of us (ages 3-74) took a tour to Hector Falls and back with Paul and Lisa. They did a great job helping the inexperienced kayakers among us (that’s me!) feel comfortable and capable. My kids especially loved climbing up the waterfall and jumping off the rope swing into the lake. We make sure to stop by Seneca Lake Kayak every summer when we’re in the area visiting family. Great spot for all ages/abilities to rent some kayaks and paddle boards and play in the shallow, sandy water.

I highly recommend Seneca Lake Kayak if nothing else than to hangout and talk with Paul (I think that was his name). He is such a nice, warm person. Caring and chill. He will spend as much time as you need chatting and helping you understand the equipment! My wife and I were up from Jersey for a few short days and wanted to kayak around the lake for an hour. Paul took great care of us!

We took the Hector Falls tour as a family of four (and one dog) and we had an amazing day. It was the highlight of our trip to the Finger Lakes! Our guide Paul was very kind and considerate of everyone in the group. My 10-year-old son loved climbing Hector Falls and doing the rope swing into the lake, and he said the tour was the “best thing he’s ever done.” (Very high praise indeed!) Paul even snapped some photos of our family after my phone died. A great time!
We decided to kayak on a whim. I did not have sunscreen and the staff member was nice enough to let me use some of theirs so I did not come out BURNT. Lol. They were very friendly . We rented for 2 hours and kayaked out to the falls. It was beautiful – but a work out for sure . Pack your water and sunscreen and the good times and views will follow . I’m happy we made this stop while visiting on our girls trip.
