The gorge trail is absolutely gorgeous. The rocks shaped by the water all around you while you’re walking the trail is a next level experience. You can also read about the history of the valley during the walk. I recommend going as early as possible, it gets real busy real fast.

The gorge itself is almost two miles in length with the cavern cascade probably the largest of the falls. Spectacularly, you can actually walk behind them, but be prepared to get a bit wet! Waterproof shoes are definitely recommended. Access is free from the street below, but if you drive up and park, it’s NULL per car. Don’t miss this, it’s beyond belief!

I saw Cavern Cascade and Rainbow Falls. It was busy, but that is to be expected on a holiday weekend. Fairly easy hike, but there were alot of steps. Since it was busy, I was forced to go slower which is fine because I was just taking in the views. Gorge trail is the trail you want to take to get the best views. I hiked Gorge trail all the way until it met with Indian trail. The I took Indian trail most of the way back. There were some wet spots, so be prepared to get a little wet. I wore tennis shoes and they were fine. Nice bathroom facilities at the entrance to the park.
