Discover Doc Nelson Dog Park, a favorite off-leash destination for dog owners in Watford City, North Dakota. This expansive, pet-friendly park features three separate fenced areas, allowing pups of all sizes and personalities to run freely, make friends, and burn off energy. The park is popular among locals for its spacious layout and the sense of community among visitors. With beautiful open grounds, it’s a fantastic spot to let your canine companion play while you enjoy a relaxed atmosphere.
Families will appreciate that the park is also good for kids, and friendly people are a hallmark of the experience here. Please be aware that the entrance and parking lot can get rough and muddy, especially after rain—drivers of low-clearance vehicles should take care.
Great dog park. Huge and 3 different fenced off sections. Only 4 stars bc no fresh water access for dogs and parking lot needs to be graded and gravel. Horrible muddy rough ruts.
My dogs love this place. I have a blind dog who loves being able to run free with no leash while we are there. I always run into friendly, kind people who let their dogs play with my two dogs. Great people, dogs and fun location!
My dog loved it. Lots of room to play. But the entrance in is absolutely terrible. Huge ruts in the mud. Someone should grade the road. A car definitely wouldn’t make it down the road. Alot less dogs going to the park then. Real bummer
A lot of us here in Watford work hectic schedules. And it’s wonderful to have a separate area to take your dog so they can run and have time with you. Best dog park in ND
It was a great place I didn’t know was there. My pups seemed to really enjoy it. It is a big spacious area for them to run and get their energy out. I will definitely be going back!
