Filippello Dog Park in Watertown, MA is a local spot for dog owners to bring their pets for exercise and socialization. While specific amenities are not detailed, it is known as a friendly neighborhood park for dogs.
Separate areas for different size or socially challenged dogs, free poop bags, and benches for humans all make this a good dog park to visit. The gravel is a little tough to walk on, but the dogs don’t have trouble running around on it. It can get hot, so make use of several included water bowls and water dispensing station to keep your dog hydrated.
Well thought out dog park and actively used during daylight hours, this park is worth visiting.
This is honestly a great dog park and the people we’ve encountered there are very friendly. It’s very clean and spacious! The only downside is the gravel they use is so deep it can be very hard to walk over if you have balance issues—and unfortunately, my senior dog does not like walking over it. I highly recommend this place for others, it’s just not a good fit for our needs. 🙂
We just started going there and so far so good. Good dogs, good owners, and a great place to let your dog off leash and let them run and play! Added bonuses: a big tree on it’s side that the dogs can walk on and explore, and plenty of seating for the humans! Haha
Great dog park! Usually other dogs around. It is a gravel area with some rocks/logs for dogs to play on. There is also a water station for the dogs
I travel pulling a trailer all the time so parking is often difficult at dog parks within a big city… This park has plenty of parking once through the narrow entrance. Gravel makes cleaning up after my dogs super easy and there’s plenty of shade from mature trees. Park seems pretty clean and my dogs are happy.
