Perfect place to walk for cardio. They have a lap trail that is flat. They currently have no bathrooms (down fall). When I walk, I drink water and end up leaving early. They are planning on building a bathroom
Great family park. Has one walking/ running trail. Daytime activities are recommended and preferred for safety purposes.
Not the biggest park but it is usually decent there..the kids like the playground. They do have a porter potty and a small gazebo.
Nice, Clean & Open park. Had a great time playing basketball with a few others .
This Park is in the “Bunker Hill” section of Waterbury. It is a well kept, “something for all” park, with a rest room/!”Port- o- let” on site. Very clean. The park has steel fencing all along the street side, a few parking areas for handicapped vehicles, and on street parking around the area (and some off street parking behind the Church across the street from the park.)
Playground equipment for younger children, a field, and basketball court… It is a well maintained well lit park. City of Waterbury maintains it.
Appears somewhat safe. Has a walking/ skateboard linear foot trail around the outer border
For Waterbury, this is a gem of a place to bring your kids.
