This is a large open area park. it has a port-a-john bathroom but it was clean when I was there for Family Fun Day. There were many activities set up that day. Centerville Parks and Recreation has done a fabulous service to the community by setting up family days and adapted days (where families with kids with special needs can come and receive more assistance to do the activities).See photos
Loved fishing here with my daughter and grandchildren!
Nice dog park. Double gate entry. Water, trashcans, tables/benches, a few sun shades. 4ft fence (5ft? I didnt measure, ha, but not 6ft)
Big dog park had responsible owners, concerned about thier dog’s level of interaction with other dogs, which is really important… I hope it wasnt a 1-day fluke LOL, we plan to go back.
Little dog park had little dogs… I didnt interact with them enough to comment.
This is a really great park with lots of fun stuff for the kids to do. There is plenty is seating areas. They also have a little trail you can walk around a pond. And around the pond in certain spots is work out equipment.
Super nice park. 2 nice sized playgrounds. Plenty of parking. 15 Soccer Fields. A catch and release pond. Baseball fields. A mile walking trail. Exercise route with equipment. 2 Dog Park areas. And plenty of picnic tables under shelter. There’s also an archery near the back of the park. So much to do at this park, and it’s always kept up nicely.
