It’s in need of some repair with the gates & fences so always watch your animals for many reasons. Great place to walk & there are waking trails in the woods nearby.
Very quiet and secluded park, it’s where I’m going to have my wedding ceremony next year. It’s very lovely and I love going back over and over again to imagine my wedding 😊
Nice places for hoomans to sit 🐶 while pups enjoy off leash time. And little dog area is big enough to accommodate many doggies. 🐩🐕

Use West entrance on Ernest Street (one block from Legion Rd) to use playground and dog park. Both sides of the park have nature trail access. Playground is nice equipment meant for 5-12 years old. Dog park has large fenced area with seating and shade and separate use for large and small dogs. There’s a big shelter with lots of tables between the playground and the small dog section of the dog park. Although there’s no swings, my big kids like the playground. There’s a porta-potty and a water pump but no drinking fountain. The nature trails are short but relaxing. Parts of the trails have steep steps and crossing a shallow creek might be necessary depending on the time of year. But when there’s a bit of water, you can see tadpoles, frogs, and water skimmers.
