The Dog Coop is amazing! We drive over 45 minutes to bring our dogs here for overnight boarding. Judi and her staff are very accommodating to anxious dog owners. They are wonderful with our dogs and I’m so glad that we found them. We brought our elderly dog here before he passed away and he loved it. It’s so important to have a place that you can send your dogs without worrying.
We cannot rave enough about TDC! Our Maisy is a true dog’s dog, and absolutely loves going to hang out with her friends. She’s small, but with a big dog mindset so it’s great she can be with ones of all sizes to help get her almost endless energy out. Judi and staff seem to truly adore all the dogs, and have been very helpful and reliable (like when I went into labor early and we were able board our dog for two nights at the last minute). Now that grooming services are being added too, it’s a one stop shop for us and we couldn’t be happier. You and your pup won’t regret coming here!
My pittie mix, Willa Bean, and her best friend golden retriever, Marshall, love going to The Dog Coop!! Both instantly know when they are getting dropped off and run to the door and don’t even look back to say goodbye. The Dog Coop is the best doggy daycare and boarding in DC! They do not crate the dogs and definitely treat all pups like family! The owner and staff are always so nice and love the dogs like their own. Willa used to be a little shy and now she plays ball with the other dogs. The staff is also very attentive and ensure that Marshall is given extra attention bc he has seizures. When Marshall went to other doggy daycares and would have a seizure, he would comeback home with a scratch/mark on him from the other dogs ganging up on him during his seizure episode. At The Dog Coop, all staff are always so loving and take good care of the pups! Thank you, The Dog Coop!
My doggies and I love The Dog Coop! The staff is incredibly friendly and genuinely cares about my doggies, Phoebe and Bruno. My two pups are always so excited to go, and I can tell they have a great time when they visit. They even posted them for their birthday 🥺. Scheduling is super easy, and I always feel confident knowing I can contact the staff whenever needed. One of my dogs has a history of being nervous around men, but the staff went above and beyond to work with him, and he’s comfortable with the male staff members. It means a lot to me to see how much effort they put into making sure every dog feels safe and happy. I couldn’t be happier with the care my dogs receive here.
We love the Dog Coop!! The owner Judi has been walking both our dogs for over five years now and we are thrilled that she has grown her business into a full dog daycare and boarding! We trust Judi with both our dogs fully, and our senior dog especially has thrived under Judi’s care in ways we never expected and really come out of her shell! Her and her team are so welcoming and excited to be with the dogs. The facility is comforting and feels like home to the dogs. There are no crates and they have tons of play areas as well as a zen room and couches for when the hounds need a break.
