A convenient location with street parking if you don’t live within walking distance. The park is great. It’s surrounded by mature trees with chirping birds as the soundtrack. The ground is fresh wood chips so your pooch won’t get dusty. Water fountains, benches, tables, plenty of shade… I’ll be back frequently!
Really happy to have this in the neighborhood!! JJ loves it there and we have met so many cute dogs! Thank you DC Park and Rec!
Fairly good sized fenced areas. One for large dogs and one for small. No grass. But ample wood chips. Near parklands, so it’s a nice setting.
This park is awesome!! Sadly our dog has never actually met another dog here, but she loves coming and hope we will meet some new fur-iends soon!
Great brand new dog park. I went to this dog park to see it for myself and was absolutely amazed. It has sections for large and small dogs, water fountains, picnic areas, one of which has a grill, and also areas that provide shade. It’s great to finally have these types of amenities on this side of the Anacostia.
