Great place for dogs to run around and socialize. Lots of bench for dog parents to sit and watch their beloved pets enjoy playtime.
Great big dog park in the city. Lots of benches and tree boxes. Sometimes there’s scuffles with the dogs but that’s true if any park that gets busy. They do fun special events occasionally like Doggy costume party at Halloween.
A well maintained dog park with running water and benches. Usually has at least a dog or two any time of day, and can get very busy, while still providing plenty of space for your pooch to sniff around. Unfortunately, it is pea gravel, so Snuffles and Fido will get pretty gnarly if they roll around.
Nice large area with shade and water for the dogs. The gravel is not ideal, it cuts up their paws.
We visited from out of town, and our two dogs were happy here. I sought this park out because it is not astroturf, which retains an awful urine smell. (The S Street dog park was pungent.) There is water and shade, and there were about 10 dogs to play with on a warm Tuesday afternoon. Other owners were at minimum moderately attentive to their dogs, so it was a relatively safe and pleasant place to spend an hour.
