Rose Park

Rose Park is a safe and verdant community park in Washington, DC with ample amenities including playgrounds, basketball and tennis courts, picnic tables, and open green spaces where dogs are welcome. It features a wheelchair-accessible entrance and is popular for family outings, dog walks, and a seasonal farmers market. While the park offers benches and picnic areas, it currently has some restroom issues. Dogs are often seen off-leash and the park has a lively, welcoming atmosphere for both kids and pets.

Hi my name is Yajaira Rondón, I’m nanny in Washington DC I love Rose park it’s a save place for my three kids but one month ago the two restroom doesn’t work and the kids have to make pi’s and pupis around and we suffer a lot when we need to use the restroom.
This basketball court is good overall but it does unfortunately have 1 corner cut off and pools water too easily.
In a charming park, where laughter does cascade,
Elementary mirth, in sunlight and shade.
A playground stands, its greatness widely preached,
Yet, dogs roam free, their leashes oft unbreached.
Benches line the field where baseball games unfold,
A pleasant walk, where stories and smiles are told.
With every step, a memory’s embrace,
In this serene, yet lively, gathering place.
Clean, safe, and verdant. My dog’s favorite place for a walk. There’s playgrounds, basketball courts, a baseball diamond, tennis courts, and picnic areas. I’ve seen folks set up a volleyball net from time to time. The farmers market runs from spring to fall on Wednesdays and includes a nice selection of breads, sweets, and veggies. A lovely place to get lost with a book for the afternoon.
Farmers Market every Wednesday 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. in season. Great vendors like bread, boreks, produce, fish, etc. Mostly is prepared food but there are two produce vendors.
