Milian Park is a small, community-focused green space located in the heart of Washington, District of Columbia, at 499 Massachusetts Ave NW. While not a traditional dog park with fenced enclosures or amenities, this spot is popular with local pet owners who appreciate its welcoming atmosphere and central location for dog-friendly outings. The park stretches over a compact area, making it perfect for quick walks or a casual pet-friendly break in downtown DC.
The park is wheelchair accessible, clean, and well-maintained thanks to the MVT Community Improvement District Clean & Safe Team. While there are limited amenities—there are currently no benches, seating, or designated off-leash or fenced zones—dog owners frequent the space to socialize their dogs and enjoy the urban neighborhood setting. The park’s regular maintenance and vibrant local community make it a valued spot for pet lovers and families alike.
Clean ☺️
Shoutout to the MVT Community Improvement District Clean & Safe Team (Green Team) for always maintaining this park, especially for the farmers market every Saturday
No bench in the park. Saw a number of starlings grazing.
This park is more of just an area where people take their dogs. I would love to see some functional features here someday! Also the grass is struggling.
Suuuuper small park located in an interesting corner!!
It doesn’t have any bench but dogs love this part and I saw a lot of dog owners with their pets in here, I think it’s perfect for them.
