Bike faster than car. Google Maps ETA from Edgewood / Brookland to city is faster via bike using this trail. Pretty impressive
Massive improvements around the Eckington and brookland/catholic/RI Ave areas of the trail over the last two years. This is a great off road way to make it from the brookland area to the capitol building with nice vibes along the way from the street art and historic dc neighborhoods!
Can easily rent a bike out and utilize this trail to explore the city. There some parks on the trail with some beautiful artwork.
An Urban Oasis where one can escape into a state of relaxation, given your mind the extra bandwidth or processing capacity to process all those background thoughts you always to think but now they can be thunk! The visual tapestries on the walls and the sparse crowds will help jog your memory while you work your body down the path towards fulfillment. Enjoy
