Right now they’re having issues of the bad element! I give it three stars because it’s a nice place once they do a little bit more cleaning! It’s not family friendly yet!
Great place to picnic. Was cleaned up a lot thanks to community efforts and help from local nonprofits. It has seen quite the transformation even in just the last ten years. Crazy to think this was the park where the legendary Marvin Gaye grew up spending much of his time in.
Nice park quiet place a historical landmark so it well taken care of, should be loaded with people and their dogs playing around, there are multiple sections so although it’s small it can hold a lot of people
Took my granddaughter here today. It’s a nice little park with a splash pad. She likes it. It was kind of muddy in some areas. Other than that, it is a nice place to bring the little ones
Attended The Summer Peace Jam brought together by DC Music Summit and Washington Parks and People. It was an uplifting experience with several local vendors.. fun for kids and dope musical performances.
