Bundy Dog Park in Washington, DC is a spacious and clean dog park featuring fake green turf and a large grass area for dogs to run and play. It is popular among dog owners and sitters and provides ample room for sprints. However, some concerns have been raised about safety for small dogs due to occasional aggressive behavior and the lack of small dog only hours. The park could benefit from improvements such as fixing gates, cleaning the turf, and adding a hose spout. It is known to be one of the best public dog parks in DC, though it lacks restrooms.

Would love if they could fix the gates and clean up the turf (needs a good spray), and add a hose spout. Other than that, good park

Dogs seem really happy here, they can make sprints of like 50 meters here. The only down side is that ppl are shooting at the goal right next to the park. Some dogs like it and want to play, others get scared. Oh no restrooms!!!

I’ve gone to this dog park twice. Once during lunch and once in the afternoon. I thought I was going to love it. It’s very clean, fake green turf, and a long stretch of grass with ample room for dogs to run. My dog is a small dog, very friendly, loves to play and has gone to many dog parks. The second time I went was after work my dog was almost mauled upon entering by multiple dogs. We couldn’t make it 1 foot past the entrance. My dog cried multiple times, I went to grab her only to have another dog knock her out of my hands. Then a second time I went to pick her up and another dog lunged at me and bit me. No one reacted quickly. Everyone just kind of stood by and let this happen. I would not recommend anyone with a small dog to come here. I am going to say this dog park is not safe. The dogs are not trained well enough. I would recommend the park to have 2 small dog hours a day. At separate times so people with small dogs can bring their pets and know they will be safe.
