What a find!! We needed a place to stay the night on our way to Augusta and I wish we could have stayed longer. It was by far one of the quietist, cleanest RV parks we’ve ever stayed in. The laundry room had several washers and dryers and was exceptionally clean. We really enjoyed our morning walk along one of their many trails. Highly recommend Warthen RV Park.
I had a great time and meet so many new camp cousin. I have been here before and will continue to come back. The team makes everyone feel at home. Family own park. We set at the fire pit to wee ours in the night. Had a ball and will be back soon.
Warthen RV Park is in a quiet location where it is peaceful. If you are looking for amenities, this is not the place although they have ample space to build up the park. The land has much potential. It is more self-service as we never saw anyone in the office when we were there. Our reservation was for a pull-through lot, but when we arrived, the Camp Host informed us that it was a glitch in the system, per management. The Camp Host was friendly and helpful. Needs a bit more asphalt in the spaces. Lots of potential for building up this park.
We have camped at Warthen RV Park in our motorhome 3 times and each time it gets harder to leave. Our first stay was planned for a weekend and we stayed the entire week. The location is very relaxing and it feels like you’re going to family reunion when you get there. Everyone is family. We tell everyone we know about this hidden gem. We can’t wait to get back and I know it won’t be long before we go back.
