Very grateful to those that put in the money and the work to make this place really cool. I’ve read a lot of the bad reviews and either they were posted years ago or they are about cursing in public ( which no one can control. Freedom of speech and all that.) Or about trash issues. It would be nice to see those same people volunteering to help pick up the trash. Instead of complaining be part of the solution. I love going here when its too hot outside. Also love walking my dogs here. Can’t wait to try out my canoe here!! Great job!!

I took my grandson and he had so much fun. I like that it has shade and benches that are close enough to sit but still see your children play. There’s play equipment for the littles and the older kids. They have swings for babies and grown ups. The park is very clean and all the play equipment was well maintained.

I think this park has a lot of potential, especially if the beach area is expanded. A potential gem for relaxation within the CSRA without having to travel hours to other locals.

It is one of the best places for family with kids, because its small park is really nice and safe for kids. The floor of the playground is new and comfortable for kids. Moreover, it is an endless pond, its swimming and driving facilities are awesome. Please usually come with their own boats to enjoy the pond. One side of the pond there has an old iron bridge, don’t forget to visit it. The view of water falling from that bridge is really eye soothing. Around the pond, there is a trail , I couldn’t finish that trail due to its length, so if you have more time, you can do that. Overall, anyone will enjoy this area.

A beautiful and much needed upgrade to the area! My niece and nephews had a blast! They have several different size appropriate playgrounds. Fun instruments, swings, slides, etc. The new beach area is large and looks like it will be fun come summer. The many boat ramps and docks will be great for boating or kayaking. The bridge over the damn was a pretty walk as well. All in all very thankful to have something this nice in the area to enjoy with family and friends!
