Warren Dog Park, conveniently located just north of the Park n Ride commuter lot on Franklin Street, offers a spacious and well-maintained spot for dogs and their owners in Warren, RI. This dog park is fully fenced, with two separate areas to accommodate both small dogs (under 30 lbs) and large dogs, providing a safe and enjoyable environment for pups of all sizes. The main area combines pea stone at the entrance with grassy space, ensuring dogs have ample room to run and play off-leash. Being right next to a popular bike path also makes it a great stop for those seeking pet-friendly trails and dog-friendly adventures in the community.
Getting to Warren Dog Park is easy, with plenty of parking available in the adjacent commuter lot or on the street, making it accessible for everyone, including wheelchair users. While the park is well-loved for its size and community feel, it should be noted that shade and water sources are limited, so owners should plan accordingly—especially on hot, sunny days. The park provides poop bags, trash barrels, and several types of seating, including benches and lawn chairs, making it convenient and comfortable for both you and your furry friend to enjoy some quality outdoor time.
The park is spacious and is divided into separate space for large breeds and small breeds-A great safety feature. The town recently addressed the often muddy conditions by creating an enclosed space that is filled with (pea stone?). While this addresses one issue it creates problems 1. Cleaning up after dogs will be an issue and probably a bigger issue will be the heat of the summer sun.. there are no trees to offer shelter or relief to burning paws. Can someone address this potential problem?
Enjoyed a great fall day with my dogs. Great spot, fenced in, separate spaces for large and small dogs, well maintained.

Decent park. Good sized. Peastone at the entrance, with a border into grass for the majority. Looks like some solar lights were recently added. There was a fair amount of unpicked-poop in the grass though.
There are two permanent benches, but seating is mostly lawn chairs.
No water and trash and bags are located outside the fence.
