Dog owners will love that Wellston Trail Greenway welcomes leashed pets, offering the perfect spot for dog walking and bonding amidst natural beauty. Note that while the area is generally well-kept, some reviews mention occasional maintenance issues, so visiting during the day is recommended for the best experience.
I use the trail to do my 10000 steps today. It’s very clean. However I don’t understand why they have not mowed the grass on the right side.
Leading to the pool.
Everything on the
right side of the saw at walk. It’s mowed.
But the left side is full of grass. It needs to be cut
Not bad. I wouldn’t recommend this trail in the late evening or at night. The parks seemed to be in a state of mild neglect, especially at the trail head but it wasn’t a bad area. Try it in the afternoon and see what you think.
Poor quality trail, interrupted by road crossings, with holes, root pops, and other obstacles in the asphalt surface. Do better.
I can’t say day anything bad about this place. To be right in the middle of a decent size city it’s very pretty and feels like your secluded. Access to the only visible place to sit, which was under what from a distance looked like a nicely maintained pavilion with picnic tables, was behind a locked barricade and this was at roughly 3 pm on a Friday. At the other end access was not blocked but it was simply a parking lot. A nice parking lot, it was shaded by big beautiful trees with a circle walking path. It’s a nice place to visit when it’s open I guess but I’ll have to find out a different day
Went for a walk as a family, really nice, too bad it’s not a circle trail but overall great walk and great trail
