A great shortcut to the White Mountains! The views are comparable to Mt. Monadnock, Mt. Cardigan, Welch Dickey Loop, but the hike is 10 times easier (if you drive up from the south). The fire tower is also is a plus. The top is smooth granite with nearly 360 deg views, on a clear day you can see Mt. Washington. If you want a longer hike you can walk up on the north side, I have done these as well. The best views are from the top 500 feet so you get them from either approach.

Very scenic. You get to see white mountain, monadnock from the top. Two trails start from winslow park. The trails are easy enough for kids. Make sure to get food and water with you. The views are just fantastic. Better pre register online. Parking is small and gets full.

Awesome hike on a beautiful day! Took the auto road to the summit, then hiked Lincoln trail up and Rollins trail down. Great views from the top and was able to go inside the fire tower! Lincoln trail is .4 miles to summit, but very steep and rocky. Rollins trail is .5 mile, but was muddy in some flat spots.

All the experiences of a 4K footer in a condensed package! Beautiful hike with a Little Rock scramble to the peak. Gorgeous views all around.

Not a long hike from the trailhead, 1.1 or 1.8 miles, short and simple, but a great view. Can see in all directions, the fire tower is also great.
