Good little pond for a quick stroll. No dedicated parking area
Great little nature trail. Had off today. Very peaceful and full of foliage. Not sure how long the trail is.
It’s actually paved unlike nearby parks and every dog owner has decided to walk their dog there Sunday mornings so the cute puppies were a plus. The pond also has fragmites taller than a person, the last pic I left mine in the fence
A hidden gem on Long Island! Mill Pond is a mini ecosystem with a small forest, fresh water pond, birds, aquatic plants, ducks, geese, swans, dragonflies and beautiful scenery, all accessible through the trail around the pond. The wildlife there seems not disturbed. Despite the fact that this park is next to a highway, there is still tranquility in the heart of the park. Autumn 🍁 foliage is like a painting. It’s probably worth coming back to visit in summer. Street parking space is plentiful but a driver still needs to watch out for traffic before opening or closing doors.
