FAQ for Wamego City Park in Wamego Kansas:
BEAUTIFUL little gem of a park! Love to come here on my break while I’m out here delivering packages for Amazon! The little train that runs through here is so neat too! Very nice! ❤️❤️❤️
A nice park, though the playground is pretty big. So it can be a little tough to keep track of your kiddos of you have a few, or more. Especially when there are a lot of other kids there, which happens somewhat often.Pretty little pond, and a fun little train for the kids to ride on, when it’s running, which definitely isn’t all the time.
Love the beautiful scenery. Very quiet, very clean..
A beautiful park! We visited during the Wamego Tulip Festival and had a great time, and took some great pictures. We will visit again.
As my wife and I traveled across country, we just happened upon Wamego Kansas. We probably spent two to three hours in town walking and admiring. Wamego City Park was one on the areas we spent the most time in. It is a beautiful park with a pond, an old Dutch Windmill, a museum, and several other quaint areas to explore. The perfect place for a family picnic, or to just spend an afternoon in the tranquil peace and quiet. We loved the small little town in rural Kansas.
