This is a river side location suited for launching paddle craft and fishing primarily. There is opportunity for some birdwatching and wildlife viewing. Folks occasionally swim here in the summer and rarely camp overnight. There are no facilities, park equipment or fire pits. Fires are generally discouraged. There is occasional police or game warden presence. Users of the area should pay attention to changing water levels since this location is directly below a hydroelectric dam and water releases happen with little warning. This location is also prone to inundation during spring snow melt and significant rain events.

Worst beach ever, 0/10 stay away! This place is great. We enjoyed a few hours of riverside respite from the July 2020 heat. Little traffic, almost no bugs, plenty of fun for dogs.

My girl’s and I have been coming here since they were newborns. 💚💚
It’s such a gorgeous and special place for us. We’re lucky ☘️ as we generally get the place to ourselves but also enjoy meeting/chatting with folks.
Every so often, we show up with a big trash bag in hand. We’ll walk the entirety or until the bag is full. It would be awesome if trippers took their trash with them.🤞 Be even cooler if visitors stopped breaking glass bottles all over the site🤌🤌🤌

The rocks are definitely bait and hook hungry but fish will find a way.

Great for hand launched crafts.

It can turn into quick sand / mud in places.

The out flow from the dam is disgustingly good dirty. It’s a got a horrible smell and so much debris sonar has a hard time finding the bottom.

The pot holes up stream are fascinating place to explore
