Less a review of the trail and more a review of the adorable, adorable rock.

Took the family to see the historical mill but Little Yash fell in the water. Would NOT recommend

I typed in dog park and this was the 1st listing to come up. Nothing about this is anything like a park. It is simply a trailhead. There is no parking, no outbuildings, and no signs other than a Google maps printout of the trail itself.I am visiting from out of state and wanted to take my dog to a nice dog park. This was simply a letdown.

Really cool place to explore and bring your dog for a nice long walk along a river and a few ponds. There’s a dam you can explore as long as you are careful. Great views along the pond and river. There is a trail that goes all the way around the ponds and river. About a 4 mile walk all the way around. There’s one spot that says private property no trespassing but you can walk past it and find the path to walk along the other side and you won’t get in trouble. The sign is up so vandalism stops but the trails are open to the public. They have red or blue tags all along the trees so you won’t get lost along the trail. Parked in the lot near the train tracks where the painted rock on Plimpton Street is, explored the dam right away then followed the path to the other side by the mill to the other dam then walked to the other side and walked along the river and ponds to Plimpton Street at the end of the trail and walked down Plimpton street to my car. About 4 miles. Great times! Just some parts were not well groomed but it’s the winter so it’s expected.

The Endean Trail was cleaned recently! The downed trees are gone and the prickers have been trimmed! I enjoy hiking and biking on this trail. I plan on using it to get from the Dog Rock entrance to Jimmy’s Pizzeria soon. The section from the Dog Rock to the more cleared section near the dam is a bit rough at times, some rocks and small pieces of wood to traverse, but I enjoy it all.
