Located at 2429 Metedeconk Rd, the Brick Reservoir Wall Parking Lot provides access to a beautiful, dog-friendly walking area in Wall Township, New Jersey. This park is celebrated for its scenic 1.6-mile loop with wide paved paths that circle the reservoir, offering pet owners and their dogs an easy, enjoyable walk with water views and an easy-going vibe. While not a typical fenced dog park, it’s a favorite among local dog owners for leashed strolls and peaceful outings. Ample parking, wheelchair accessibility, and consistent cleanliness make visiting hassle-free.
Amenities at the park include a playground for children, clean restrooms, picnic tables, a boardwalk, tennis and pickleball courts (permits required), and waste bags for convenient cleanup after your pup. Visitors appreciate the extensive lighting for safety, natural surroundings, and the dog-friendly, family-centric atmosphere. Though dogs must stay on a leash, the reservoir’s paved and pet-friendly trails offer a standout experience for those seeking dog-friendly hiking near the Jersey Shore.
Nice spot! Should be enough parking.
I enjoy this place as a female because I feel safe here walking by myself..the vibe is easy going and the water is so beautiful..its a short distance around compared to the other resovoirs near by..
Very quite and soothing place, it wasn’t that busy at the time I visited, might be due to warm afternoon.
The Rolls Royce of reservoirs. A 1.6 mile loop on a paved path surrounds the reservoir. A crown jewel for the local water supply. The paving, extensive lighting and improvements are nice I would have preferred a more natural environment similar to the Manasquan Reservoir.
Nice easy 1.6 mile walk on wide paved walk. Natural to the outside, resovoir view to the inside. Dog friendly. No bicycles.
