Reviews
The owners are welcoming, friendly and incredibly hard-working. The rooms have been renovated with all new carpet and bedding. Excellent place to stay while visiting the Pembina Gorge, Frost Fire Ski Hill/Mountain Biking, Walhalla Country Club, etc. The C-Store has everything you need plus fresh items from a local bakery. The fireworks show put on for the Fourth of July was impressive!
It doesn’t get any better than this out here. You will love the area, its very peaceful and friendly. Great hotel with friendly staff and a freat location.
Nothing fancy here, and you don’t have much of a choice if you’re staying in this town.
Our room definitely had a funky smell to it, but the bed was clean and comfortable – so it was functional enough.
They have an ice maker and a pretty basic breakfast layout. You could do worse.
The real win here is that it is attached to a C-Store, where you can grab convenience store type stuff. I forgot to bring underwear and they came through with some Fruit of the Loom. They also have some decent sandwiches and salads if you get hungry.
We came to town for the Wilderman Triathlon, and this was the perfect launching point.
The hotel was pleasant. Beds were fine and the staff were friendly and helpful. Room was very clean.
There is a C-store connected with absolutely anything you may have forgotten. Or if you want to purchase anything. I don’t think you could find something they don’t have.
The only thing we found with the hotel was the breakfast was lacking. Toast, bagels, English muffins, frozen waffles, cereal, milk, orange juice and coffee. There was no restaurant open in town to get a hot breakfast. That was the only disappointment in our complete trip. We would be willing to pay a little more for the room to have a hot breakfast.
Really though, all in all, things were great! There is a fire pit available behind the hotel, with plenty of chairs around the fire! Very nice area. They also offer you free ice if you need some for your coolers.
Would definitely stay here again!! Positives definitely out weigh the negatives.
Stopped by the convenience store, had everything we needed/wanted. The bakery goods and fresh salads in the cooler were tasty and fresh!
