Big K’s RV Park offers a quiet and friendly retreat in Wadley, Alabama, known for its laid-back community atmosphere. While primarily an RV park, it’s a welcoming spot for those seeking a pet-friendly location surrounded by nature and close to local roads like Highway 22. With spacious, level gravel lots and a secure location, it’s ideal for dog owners looking for a peaceful base while enjoying time outdoors with their dogs.
The park is appreciated for its respectful residents, available weekly and monthly stays, and helpful management. Large open areas provide plenty of room for walking your dog, though there are no specialized fenced dog runs or dog-specific amenities. Trash bins are securely placed away from living areas, and having electricity and water included in the fees adds extra convenience. Big K’s is a practical choice for pet owners in need of flexible, extended parking and a community feel near Wadley, AL.
Respectful but understanding of others may be little noisy coming and going or moving in… But never made me feel uneasy because of it. So I think it’s great and the people are the rare type of folks in these days by that I simply mean… “REAL”… GOOD JOB BIG K
Close to family in that area. Our T-Mobile cell service is non-existent at the park… not sure how other carriers do there. Owner is very helpful and accommodating.
I just moved here a month ago exactly and so far it’s a very quiet and respectful place to live and every one keeps to them selves. It’s a very quiet place aside from the traffic coming from 22. Every one seems very friendly and willing to give a helping hand…. my neighbor even got my buddy a job with him working. I also can’t complain bout the name of the rv park being the same as mine lol…. I would recommend this place to any one…. yall have a blessed day…..
18 FHU level gravel sites. No other amenities. Located right off CR 22 so you here road noise but mostly quiet. We stay a week to months when visiting family. Reasonably priced. Has some local residents that are working folks. 20 and 30 amp.
Reasonably quite. Some Road noise from Hw 22. Three stray dogs hanging around getting into any garbage. Could be unvaccinatedNULL. The water, sewer and electrical connections were good. Level lots with pleanty of room. Not cheap . Can pay by the week, which is helpful for us working guys. Overall a good little place to park. Close to my job at Williams Energy. Under ? A month with no extra charge for electricity and water etc. Nice secure garbage dumpster which is placed away from the sites. Which helps alot in the summer heat. Room to park a second vehicle. I would stay here again
