Beautiful hidden gem. Driving into the park feels a lot like you are in the wrong place. The sign peeks out from behind a construction zone and leads to a gravel driveway and parking lot. There’s a decent slope that leads you to a gorgeous park and playground in what looks like a basin. This park has a big kid and little kid playground, a dog park, running/biking path, cricket field, and several gazebos. We were disappointed there wasn’t any hiking trails, but everything else is beautiful. Our new favorite park!!
Great place to bring your kids, dog or just yourself. Two nice sized playgrounds for kids to enjoy. Two large pavilions with picnic tables open for picnic lunches or birthday parties. There’s a dog park and paved paths for walking or riding your bike.
Beautifully kept park. Huge walk trail with nicely cut grass. Could use another pavilion and more outdoor workout equipment, but good for free. My daughter enjoys the bigger playground equipment as well. Worth a trip. Even has a dog park for big and smaller dogs.
It’s a big park, with 2 party places and a nice playground for kids. The walking trail is long and lot of trees nearby.
The park as such needs a good restroom which should be well maintained.
Five Stars – A Perfect Pause at Connolly Park
After a heartwarming dinner with my mother, my Mother’s Day celebration continued in the most delightful way—courtesy of my thoughtful daughter. She whisked me away to Ott’s in Voorhees, where we indulged in a personal favorite—mussels in white sauce paired with soft, warm white bread. A glass of Merlot for me, and a classic Shirley Temple for her, set the tone for an evening rich in laughter and precious reminiscing.
To wine down from such a rich and love-filled day, we made our way to Connolly Park in Cherry Hill, a serene and scenic gem perfect for strolling and soul-soothing. We let the melodies of Lauren Daigle and Chris Tomlin guide our steps, allowing faith and fresh air to mingle beautifully under the twilight sky.
Our journey didn’t end there. The final note to our perfect day played out at Sundae in West Berlin, where we treated ourselves to our favorite coffee ice cream—all enjoyed picnic-style in the comfort of our car, right on their cozy premises.
Connolly Park was the ideal middle chapter in a storybook day. Peaceful paths, clean grounds, and just the right balance of nature and nurture. If you’re looking to make meaningful memories with the people you love most—this park is the pause you didn’t know you needed.
Magnificent. Magical. Marvelous. Mother’s Day was everything I dreamed—and Connolly Park helped make it unforgettable.
