This place is by far our favorite dog park. My furry baby likes it because its so huge and gives her a plenty of space to run freely. I like it because there’s a walking trail that goes all around the edge which can be a nice exercise. The only things is the distance from the city, and mud holes that fills out after it rains. Still would recommend trying the place out at least once.

One of my favorite dog parks! It is huge and has some shaded areas, grass, woods and prairie for your furry friend to explore. It also has a dog agility citcuit for training and a few picnic tables. There is also a smaller dog run more suitable for puppies, small breeds and senior dogs adjacent to this park. Don’t forget to bring water for your dog and annual permit!

Just moved to Madison area and exercised my dog in this park. Everything is great excepts some people. My dog is a Saluki and I have been bugged by few ladies. It was all about that my dog is too skinny and it must be an animal abuse and they are going to report me blehblehbleh. Please get yourself educated before judging other people and dogs please. This kind of judgement had ruined my day several times.

This park has a nice 15-20 min loop. Very open space and dogs can come and go meet other dogs. Very good park for dogs to do exercises and meet other dogs

I am visiting from out of town and dog sitting. We have been trying out various dog parks in the Verona/Madison area and this is my favorite so far! We have met some lovely people and dogs while walking here. The wide hard-packed trails are great for walking, especially right now as snow has melted and created a slushy muddy mess in some parks. There are picnic tables dotted around the paths; a nice feature if you’d like to stop and sit a while, eat a paper bag lunch or just soak up the sky while watching the dogs play.
