Delphinium Dog Park offers a relaxed, well-maintained spot for local dog owners in Ventura, CA to let their dogs play off-leash and socialize. Located in a pleasant neighborhood, the park features a sandy and mulch surface rather than grass, but it compensates with plenty of trees providing natural shade. The area is known for its cleanliness and friendly, welcoming environment, making it a favorite among locals seeking a dog-friendly space to exercise their pups.
This dog park features water fountains for dogs, poop bag stations, multiple trash bins, picnic tables, and double-gated entrances on both sides for extra safety. While there are no designated areas for small or large dogs, owners regularly mingle together and report mostly positive interactions. The park is surrounded by a three-foot-high fence and offers easy access to adjacent pet-friendly walking trails. Delphinium Dog Park is considered a hidden gem in Ventura and a great choice for those looking for a calm, off-leash environment for their dogs.
New to this Dog Park, really enjoyed it! It’s very chill. My dogs loved it, didn’t see a lot of doggos. Would love to get together with someone who frequents this one so my pups can get more exposure.
We are new to dog parks in general been to one by the Collection in Oxnard have had mixed interactions there.

Nice park. No grass, but the mulch isn’t that bad at all. Kinda deserted mid day and early afternoon as far as I can tell. I have gone four times.
Clean, well managed. double-door entrances to prevent accidental escape. Entrances on both sides.

Well kept off leash dog Park. There are trees, water, and picnic tables. The surface is all bark. There is no area for small dogs but small dogs mingle regularly with the larger dogs. I’ve never seen an aggressive dog here

Very sandy and a bit of mulch. No grass. Plenty of trees. There are water fountains for the dogs and plenty of room to run. Park provides waste bags and trash cans. Always clean. Would love to have some grass here. Would suggest to put up signs that this is not a picnic area but a dog park only.
