Great bird watching. Saw many great blue Herron on lake. Very shallow lake , limited parking. One way road loops around.
Nice little loop trail to take the dog on while traveling cross country. Easy to get to, user-friendly, easy path.
Nice Five Rivers Metro Park hike. The green hike is around 4 miles long. Can see waterfalls. Hike in the forest and along the Stillwater river.
I love the Green Trail. Three waterfalls, a section along the Stillwater River, a variety of wildlife. Usually not crowded.
Good park to stretch your legs, the trails are well maintained and marked. Personally i really enjoyed the bugs that live along the trail, plenty of small moths, emerald tiger beetles, and fishing spiders! Very few mosquitoes which was also a huge plus!
